Directions to Hammer Creek Recreation Area
From Riggins, go North on Highway 95 about 30miles. You will see a sign that says Hammer Creek Recreation Area. Go left and follow the road about 1.5 miles, cross the river bridge and follow the road ahead about 1.5 miles to Hammer Creek Recreation Area.
From Grangeville , go South on Highway 95 about 15 miles and when you see the Hammer Creek Recreation Area sign (just past Hoots Café) take a right.
Directions to Spring Bar Boat Ramp
Turn off of Highway 95 at the South end of Riggins and head East across the Mill Bridge on the Main Salmon River Road. Continue up the paved river road for about 12 miles to the Spring Bar Boat ramp and campground. This is a narrow road with turn outs, so please proceed with caution.
